There are many ways to support WNC’s programming through monetary or in-kind donations. Whatever you chose to do, WNC thanks you for your generosity!
Fill the Bus - Last Stop!
Back-to-school is just days away and we still need supplies for students in need this fall! On behalf of the Waunakee Schools, WNC is asking for your help to finish filling a school bus with new school supplies for students who would otherwise not receive any. A Lamer’s donated school bus will be at Pizza Hut in Waunakee on Wednesday, August 18th and Thursday, August 19th from 10:00am-2:00pm. You can help by purchasing new school supplies and bringing them to the bus. Thank you to to those who have already contributed to filling the bus as well as our past bus stop locations of M&I Bank, Dr. JoAnn Martens Dental Office, and Piggly Wiggly.
Supplies still urgently needed to fill kits for the start of school are:
- Markers - regular size - washable
- 10 count - Colored Pencils - sets of 12
- 2-Pocket Folders - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple or black
- Notebooks - wide lined, spiral bound
- Post-it Notes - 3″ x 3″
- Index Cards - 3″ x 5″, lined
Unable to go shopping? You can help fill the bus with a monetary donation, payable to WNC by check or online here on WNC’s website. Please mark your donation for school supplies!
Can’t make a bus stop? You can drop off your supplies these locations: WNC Store, Waunakee Police Station, Walgreens, Piggly Wiggly, and Peace Lutheran Church.
