Do You Need Help?
WNC is here to help in any way we can, but if you are in an emergency situation, you should call United Way’s 2-1-1 program, by dialing 2-1-1 or calling 246-HELP from your cell phone. Operators are available 24 hours a day, and can direct you to immediate services.
WNC is available to help with basic resources, such as clothing, household items and information. We operate a FREE store, and allow “shopping” once per month. We collect from you a needs list for items we don’t keep in the store, big items such as furniture, appliances and once in a great while, a car. All we ask is that you keep your contact information updated so we can connect you with the donors when they call. You do not need to meet any minimum salary requirements, or go through any referral program. We just have you fill out some very basic contact information so that we can provide you with our quarterly newsletter and so we can contact you when items from your needs list are available. Please note, that we only serve those in the Waunakee School District. If you are not in the Waunakee School District, you can contact us for referrals to other organizations that can help, or contact United Way’s Referral Program by dialing 2-1-1.
Whether you need us for a few months to get help while between jobs, or need help on an ongoing basis due to whatever your life
circumstance is, we welcome you, and promise to help you in a profession, caring, and confidential manner. Visit other areas on our website to learn more about our vast array of available programs and services, or to get links to other available resources. You can read our current client newsletter or subscribe to receive it via mail or email. Finally, you can read about our policies, or download or welcome letter and registration forms below. To register to receive services from WNC, simply come to the WNC store during a client shopping day to register, or download the registration form below, and bring it to the store or mail it to us. We are here for you, so please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
